Computer and Electronics Recycling

It was estimated that in 2007 there were 30 million computers taken out of service and disposed of. Of those, less than 4 in 10 were recycled. F1 Systems recycles computer electronics and peripherals so they do not end up in the landfill. We are committed to the proper disposition of all recyclables we collect.

Items Accepted For Recycling

  • Computers

  • Laptops

  • Printers

  • Cables, Wires, Keyboards, Mice

  • Modems, Routers, Networking equipment

  • Monitors (LCD)

  • Monitors (CRT) (Recycling fee required)

  • Electronic Test Equipment

CRT monitors are like an old TV, big and deep with a large picture tube inside. We are charged to recycle these monitors as they are the worst offenders for pollution if not disposed of properly.

When do you accept recycling?

We accept computer electronics and listed items during normal business hours.

What don't you take?

We cannot take televisions, appliances or broken electronics. We cannot accept equipment with the cords cut off.

What happens to the data on the recycled machines?

We provid data destruction service for all recycled hard drives we process. Hard drives that are to be reused will be erased with industry standard data destruction techniques. Most drives are physically destroyed.
